ISO Certifications
Environmental certifications 14001, being implemented in January 2007, has been now joined by Quality Management System qualification.
Since July 2007, production process, sale and distribution network, Research and Development organisation, have been certified to fulfil the standard of ISO 9001:2000.

Forestali Group

The Gruppo Forestali started in 1918, under the name of Società Industrie ed Utilizzazioni Forestali.

Core business was wood processing to create products from distillation.

In 1925 the company began chemical production. The name changed to Industrie Chimiche e Forestali.

In 1950 Forestali started the production of adhesives, based on natural and synthetic rubbers.

100 Years later, ICF represents, with different brands, a solid reference point in the manufacturing of resins and woven for shoes, flexible packaging and industrial/automotive adhesives.

Who are we

ABC, Adhesive Based Chemicals, begins activity, within ICF, in 2005.

A group of professionals with more than 20 years experience in the polyurethanes, starts to research, formulate and produce polyurethane adhesives for Industrial applications.

The plan is to transfer, into the new project, enthusiasm, dynamism and dedicated competence.

The benefit of this formula gives impulse to expand the business into new market.

Adhesive Based Chemicals can produce every month more than 100 different products directed to diversified market segments: automotive, flexible packaging, graphic arts, industrial applications.

What do we do

Since 2005 we formulate and manufacture adhesives and synthetic resins at Marcallo con Casone plant.

Our products are developed around our Research Structure, the main point of which include: definition of the clients needs, product development and improvement, suitability check, with a consistent technological support. Currently, this approach combined with a new, fully automated production plant, has enabled ABC to offer a production capacity of more than 12,000 tonnes.
